What We Do

We put the Gospel into action.

Living and serving within Charlotte’s inner-city refugee community, we take Jesus’ call to love, disciple, and provide for those most in need as literally as possible.

Through One7, God is making the impossible possible – transforming lives marked by homelessness, abuse, abandonment, and worse into the next generation of leaders for Christ.

Experience One7 for yourself in this video.

The Apartments

The Apartments

Our 18-unit apartment complex is more than transitional housing. It’s a supportive community for homeless and broken refugee and immigrant families to come find healing in Jesus Christ. We currently have 15  families from 11 different countries living at One7 Apartments, with approximately 60 children living on site. We do homework together, eat together, play together, laugh together, cry together, and truly live in community with one another. This place is a amazing representation of every nation coming together to pursue Christ!
Soccer

Soccer

We build leaders and spread the Gospel using the universal language of soccer through training programs, One7 club teams, and a strong presence in local school athletics. We have teams ranging from younger recreational teams all the way to competitive club and college soccer. Our players take the opportunity to share about Christ after every game, whether they win or lose. Kids who would never walk into a church come to play soccer at our One7 Apartments or on one of our teams, and learn first hand about the love of Jesus Christ.

Outreach Center

We are so excited to announce the completion of our Outreach Center! God has performed so many miracles from the idea of this building until now. This building will be used to continue to pour out the love of Christ in inner-city Charlotte. We will host our after school program, outreach nights, events, and any other opportunities God provides to share His love. This isn’t just a building with four walls and a roof—it’s a place where hurting and broken people can come to experience His love for them!

Leaders from all nations. So much potential and promise represented in each life. It’s an honor to lead these youth each week and have the opportunity to see them grow with each trip One7 takes. Brian Scott and Pamela Stout-Scott continue to open their home for us to house the teams, and many of our friends joined us from Tennessee. The One7 staff are the most faithful and dedicated group of individuals. So thankful for all that God continues to do through them. Take your faith out into the world daily and shine. Our mission field was Atlanta this weekend. #One7 #Jesucristo ❤️ ... See MoreSee Less

Thankful to Matt Bullington, Rhett Hallman, and Travis Mcgee for putting love into action and helping make life better for us at One7 at our staff houses and outreach center this month. 🙌🏼 So many days we prayed for God to send help. We are so thankful.

Acts 2: 42-47 you read about the fellowship of Believers in the early church. The way they loved one another set them apart as a light shining in the darkness. We have experienced that love in a real and tangible way over the past few months.

Gina Mcallister, Steve Mcalister, Ben Russel, and many others have shown us the love of Christ as they help us renovate the One7 apts one by one for families in need.

Getting to know the families at Shiloh on Sunday’s, sharing amazing home cooked meals after church, and seeing/hearing their passion and love for Christ has been a huge encouragement to us. We are so thankful for the love the families continue to show us each week. A beautiful picture of the Gospel being lived out.

This past weekend we had the privilege to compete in Atlanta for a indoor futsal tournament. We took our U19, U15 and U13 to use the opportunity of playing soccer to share the love of Christ to opposing teams, coaches, and parents. Our U19 and U15 came out short in advancing, our U13 advanced to the finals and lost a tough game. They were devastated and speechless but after each game whether we win or lose the championship we share with the other team. It was amazing when parents and coaches came down to the court and got on their knees to pray with us. To share and have people join in for prayer is a miracle. A huge thank you to Pamela Stout-Scott and Brian Scott for opening your home for us, you guys are a huge part of our One7 family! ... See MoreSee Less
